The Cooperative Skinner is an social co-operative founded in 1981 in Reggio Calabria, on the initiative by a group of social workers who trying the innovation in the field of social services for disadvantages people and, in particular for disabled children. At that time there were only  residential care options and totally there were no day opportunities.

In 1983 was started the first Day Centre for children with disabilities, which is still operating today.
At begin the activity was carried out by voluntary workers, but later  has gradually professionalized his structure and, currently the  Skinner is a partner of local government, with which the our organization collaborate.

Today Skinner manages many services for disadvantages people and is partner of  local, national and european network.

Since 1996 Skinner operate in the field of vocational training of  disadvantage people and in the paste worked with European Programs.
