It 'was launched in July 1991 and accommodates 20 people with serious psychiatric disorders. Born after the closure of the Reggio Calabria OP,has gradually converted its operations/efficiency and, at present, it guests user no longer chronic.

It works in residential and admissions and resignations are arranged by the Department of Mental Health of the Provincial Health No.5 in concert with the healthcare structure manager.

The daily activities with the community guests has developed around the need to provide psychosocial rehabilitation paths aimed at increasing adult personal skills, autonomy and relationship, who have thought disharmonies, overall, serious psychiatric disorders.

There are daily engaged 15 workers: teachers, instructors and support
staff for the management of household-size hotel.

Psychosocial rehabilitation paths are backed from different external and internal activities and guests, are daily engaged in literacy and reliteracy activities, gardening, ceramics and outside socialization, in collaboration with all the existing land resources.

Particular emphasis is given to the paths aimed at the function recovery of personal autonomy, social and relational, depleted by psychopathological condition from whom is affected every guest of the structure.
